During the past few days my Tulip tree looks as though it is dying, the leaves are going yellow and brown and falling off. Can anyone help please

Usually when a plant turns yellow, it is a sign of over watering. How long have you had this tree? and has anything around it changed? Hopefully someone with more experience with trees will weigh in.

Thanks for your reply. About 3 months maybe a bit longer. It's in the ground so if it is overwatering it would be because of all the rain we have had, is there anything I can do?
