when is the best time to move

i have a ceanothus zanzibar the second one i have had the other one grew to over 10feet high and hoping this one does the same altho' you say it is a bush my one was like a tree.however i would like to move the one i have now to another spot when is the best time to move it is 2/3 year old.

The best time to move an evergreen tree/shrub is in mid-autumn or late March when the soil begins to warm up.
