Hi, I have a plant Acer Palmatum Taylor and its leaves seem to be turning white. I water the plant correctly and it is in the shade in the morning and sun in the afternoon but I am worried it may have a bug or disease. I know the leaves are pink and green, but what I don't understand is why they are going white!

That particular maple is supposed to have variegated leaves, type in the name and look at the pictures of the maple.
