I have 12 of these about 5 foot high which are planted for past 6 months. 3 gallons of water per week since planted. Recently some have started browning in random locations. Is this normal or should I be treating them?

If the older inside leaves are yellowing and browning, it is normal for this time of the year, all conifers shed their old needles. Check for spider mites, this happens with really hot and dry weather.

Elaine, Thank you. It seems it is the older leaves so I am
very relieved. I was getting a little worried after googling the topic. Thanks again for your response.
