Hello All,

I have recently moved house and have several plants in the garden which I'd like to identify.

I am a complete novice/beginner at gardening but want to get my hands dirty!

Appreciate if someone could please identify the plants from the attached photographs/links.

The photos of the plants I am trying to identify are here >>
http://www.flickr.com/photos/75247145@N05/sets/72157633292006611/

If it is easier, you could add a comment directly below the photo on Flickr.
..or just reference the plant number.

Thanks very much!

#7 looks like a flowering cherry - maybe Prunus incisa grows about 2 to 2.5m.

#1 could be anything- need a close-up of those leaves!
#2 looks alarmingly like a Sequoia sempervirens 'Glauca'- if it is it will grow ENORMOUS... Giant Redwood!
#3 is Cotoneaster- probably C. horizontalis, but might be another (don't know my Cotoneaster cvs very well)
#4 strangely looks like either Ephedra or Polygonum... unusual if it is one or the other!
#5 is an Acer palmatum of some sort- is it really that pink?!
#6 is Pieris formosana, probably 'Forest Flame'.
#7 is an ornamental cherry, Prunus' looks like a form of P. incisa, but not 100%.
#8 Possibly Hebe salicifolia?
#9 Euonymus 'Emerald n Gold'
#10 Euonymus 'Emeral Gaiety'?
#11 One of the many variegated Lawson Cypress cvs, Chamaecyparis lawsoniana.
#12 Large Rosemary? Leaves should be scented...
#13 Hydrangea macrophylla cv.
#14 Lamprocapnos (Dicentra) spectabilis.
