It is the Festival's 25th Anniversary celebrating the life and times of one of Barnsley's most famous residents: the well known and internationally respected garden designer Rosemary Verey. Over the years, the Festival has raised thousands of pounds for charity which has been donated to worthy local and national causes. Of course, with the marvelous Barnsley House Hotel opening it's doors to the hundreds of visitors eager to see the late Rosemary Verey's personal garden, the Festival would not be a garden festival if the other beautifully tended and designed gardens in the village did not open their gates as well. So, this year, more gardens than ever will be available for you to wander around and take in the sights and sounds of a fantastic day out for all the family.
Our celebrity judge this year is the well known TV Chef Phil Vickery and his wife the TV Presenter Fern Britton
