I have a pink delight B bush in a sunny burm. It did well last year and flowered fine. This season, upon reading suggestions to prune it to about 5", i did so but left more like 10 " on it. It is june 5th and still no sign of growth. Did I kill it or could it have sustained some winter damage that killed it? How long before I am supposed to see some sign of life in zone 5?

It may have died, they do sometimes in a hard winter. I cut mine down to 3 ft in Fall, so it does not get wind whipped, then cut it down to 18 inches in Feb.check what is the limitations on its zone is, I think it is 6.
