Hi everyone, I cannot work out what Sycamore this is? Has beautiful acid green, deeply divided leaves now and red seed pods. Very beautiful, but I would love to know exactly what it is, can anyone help me with this one?

Are you sure this is Acer platanus? looks like Acer Palmatum aconitifolium or one of the many other palmatum varieties.

We responded in twitter but finally managed to activate this account so will re-respond here.

After looking closer at this photo, it does appear to be a Full Moon Maple, albeit it has an iron deficiency which should be easy to correct. This tree should have a blazing red fall color, especially if you can correct the iron problem. I used to sell these for Monrovia Nursery Oregon 25 years ago. A very beautiful small tree indeed.
