My lovely spring magic blue and white is infested with greenfly. I have tried soapy dish water and vinegar but to no avail. Can anyone suggest an alternative remedy?

has the aquilegia finished blooming? if so give it a cropping and water it well, it should sprout with fresh green leaves, discard the infested plants by drowning them in a bucket and then composting. I usually crop a lot of early perennials so I can get some nice looking leaves instead of the tired looking ones.
