I have a two year old victoria plum tree (small variety that can be grown in a pot). This year it had loads of flowers on it and subsequently a lot of plums, but then in about June, on some of the branches the plums started to go yellow and shrivel up, and the leaves turned brown as well, we have only one branch that is healthy on the tree with plums on it. What happened to the other branches? Do we need to prune these bad branches right off and is the tree still OK or do we need to get rid of it due to disease?
