I planted this in 2012 when there were buds on the plant before I planted it. This year I have not had it flower at all. It is in partly sun/shade. Can anyone give me any ideas as to why it has not flowered. The leaves have all grown and are full of life!

They do take a little time to establish a root system, the reason they bloom in a pot is because they are stressed,so a little patience with most plants, especially the woodies.

I have a similar situation. Planted in 2011 and the first year was full of flowers. The next year just 3 flower clusters and for the last 3 years no flowers at all. It is planted against a 2.5M high south facing wall and seems to grow very vigorously but no flowers. Maybe I am pruning it wrongly each winter?
