Hi I bought the Bowles Mauve last year, I think I must have pruned it the wrong way as this year the growth is very top heavy, can I fix it this year or have I ruined my plant?
I'm a novice gardener and I'm not 100% sure how to prune it properly!

Hi there, can you upload a photo? It might help. Cheers Nicola

I have the same problem - after it's finished flowering how far should I prune it? Cut it back completely? Or will just a bit of a generous trim encourage more new growth?
Also I wanted this same plant but with the pink and yellow flowers - what is that one called?

You can give it a trim after it finishes blooming, erysimums are not hardy for me, like a lot of lime I guess, do well on walls.
