It is a Geum, could be magellanicum.

Thanks Samantha, magellanicum looks like the one. Don't think it is Mrs Bradshaw as Pamela suggests as that is a semi-double flower.

I agree with Sarah Jane that this is a geum. It looks very similar to my one called Mrs Bradshaw. Is it tangeriney or more red than that?
