I have recently found about a pproduct called Strulch ( a mix of Straw and mulch) I suspect. I am now trying to gather opinions as it seems to be recommended for deterring slugs and snails, So the questionsare:
(1) has anyone had any experience of using it ?
(2) does it deter slugs and snails?
(3) would you recommend the product?

Hi again Gill, the feedback on Twitter so far is very postive.

"We use it on trial beds saves time hoeing, looks good, not many molluscs anyway tho"
"superb mulch , clean and light to use. Fewer molluscs but not total . Great service"

Hope that helps?

Thanks
Nicola

Oh yes thank you although tis a pity none of your other members responded. Perhaps its is relatively new and it can be expensive..
