Thick, strappy grey/blue leaves. Seed heads much like that of Arum Maculatum, but pendulous, rather than upright.

It's Iris foetidissima. Unfortunate common names include stinking iris and roast beef plant due to the smell when the leaves are crushed. A native species to the UK that spreads easily in a garden by itself.
