Hi all
I have an ornamental pond as well as a wildlife pond beyond the veggies. The pic shows the slate stones and ornamental grasses surrounding, and you can make out the amusing Juncus grass (wiggly stems). There are also some lilies and alchemilla that haven't yet come into growth. I have backed the pond with a slope of spring bulbs, red and yellow cornus (dogwoods), a ground level bird bath, and ground cover like ajuga, liverwort, hardy geranium, spurge. Further back is a viburnum opulus (?) white flowers, red berries grows in the wild) which I am very excited about. Golden rod and rose of sharon also refuse to leave! Any other complimentary planting I would be grateful, it's a dry, but fertile area, prone to couch grass and other unwanted perennial weeds.
