I have started dahlia tubers of indoors and left in a cool but not very bright bathroom. The tubers are planted right way up but some of them have roots coming through the surface - help!

I think I would gently dig them up and check they are planted the right way up. Are these roots white?

Planting dahlias outside,I would leave it for a week or two.
