Just over 1m in height with about 50cm spread, in various places in my garden.
Started flowering a few weeks ago and is now forming incredible seed pods.
Leaves are nettle like in shape with very short softer hairs.

That is Lunaria annua (Honesty). Pretty plant that will self seed very happily. The seed pods can be cut & dried for decorations.

To add to Christine's post, it is a biennial, so it will seed this year, grow in 2016 and flower in 2017, the trick is to get them seeding enough to have consecutive years of bloom. there is also a white one and a variegated leaf type, I like the white one in the woods.
