What is stripping my Vinca Minor Gertrude Jekyll? I've planted out four small plants in in three different spots shady and partial shade and the leaves are being stripped from all of them, leaving just the stems. It doesn't appear to be slugs as I've put pellets down and it's still happening. Can anyone help? Many thanks

Hi!
A bit of mystery! Typically, slugs and snails leave Vinca minor alone. They have been known to use the dense mat of foliage as a hideout during the day, emerging at night to feast on more palatable plants, but not to eat it. I'm wondering if it is some type of caterpillar.
Is there any chance you could post a photo?

Thank you re much for you reply. It has been suggested that the problem may have been caused by voles, which makes sense as there are some small holes near by
