I am struggling with the hydrangeas in my garden. They seem to get some sort of blight and leaves curl and die. I have cut one back to nearly nothing and it's come back good but now starting to show the signs again. I think the ground is sick with some sort of fungal disease. What can I do?

Is somebody out there? Please help if you can. Have a new hydrangea in a huge pot and it is now starting to show signs of leaves wiltingdying. Not far from part of garden I think is sick but still it's in it's own new compost. What's going on. It's breaking my heart. Not in sun enough to be scorched. Guessing some sort of fungus or bacteria. What is the treatment?
