Hi, I have three of these large plants in my garden. The bases are around 1.5 2 metres wide. It has broad pointed green leaves with a 5 6 metre high black woody stalk with seed pods on.
Thanks

Jamie,
This is a phormium or 'Flax Lily' or 'New Zealand Flax' and it is about to flower rather nicely. From the photgraph, I am unable to determine whcih variety. Even doing that on an actual specimen can be quite tricky. Shoot's generalised care recommendations for phormium will apply.
