My hedge is being nibbled. I notice traces of droppings (I think) on the leaves, and distinctively curled around leaves that seem to contain, or have contained, something. The two photos show the damaged leaves, and the curled leaves. Can anybody help with what this is and how to get rid of it without harming the environment or other creatures that may eat the creature. I noticed a few ladybirds on the hedge - could they be feeding on the pest?

Hi Gill, one suggestion is from a social media follower
"Could it be leaf cutter Bees?" Hope that helps?
Cheers, Nicola

Hi again, here is another suggestion:
"Looks like vine weevil damage. There is also some leaf curl probably from aphids"
Hope that helps?
