Please can anyone tell me what this plant is? (Apologies for it being circled, I sent it to someone before this and can’t find the original photo!). It is everywhere in one part of the garden and it all attached to a root system with each green shoot coming off the root at a certain point. Thank you in advance!

Iris foetidissima. Evergreen useful for winter. Will grow anywhere. Nondescript flowers but grown for bright seeds. Native.
