Hi, I found your question and signed up just so I could answer it for you: the plant/flower is Ajuga reptans, which I have now in my garden too. It is a magnificent creeper with really beautiful flowers of the deepest blue and is the best suppressor of weeds that I've ever known. Any small piece of it can be used to grow a new specimen and I have it as a filler in tubs and boxes and hanging baskets.

Happy days in the garden

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of buying a house and have had a building survey, they think they may have identified Japanese knotweed. I'd like your opinion please. Could I post a few photos and get the forums opinion please. Apologies but I don't have any other photos apart from what has been provided to me.

Kind regards,

Zainab
