I've lived at my house for five years and allowing the bottom portion of the garden to go a bit wild. Had lots of aquilegia appear but now there's a new plant that I have no idea what it is! I've attached some photos and would be grateful to know if I should be pulling them up...

Seen there's a flower appeared so might help with identifying, done another check on an app and might be Himalayan honeysuckle...

Hi Tim, thanks - yes a lot of our followers think the same:

"Could be Himalayan honeysuckle (Leycesteria Formosa)."
"Possibly Leycesteria Formosa. If so, a self-seeder, and not long-lived. Some forms are better than others. Leycesteria Formosa 'Purple Rain' is a good dark one."

And then one less sure:
"The leaf looks a little like a hydrangea too. But I’m no expert."
