I have fallen in love with this hydrangea but I have a small

Hi Stuart, I can see the attraction, those purple flowers against the dark green leaves are lovely! I am not sure from your post if it is a purchase you are considering or if you already have it. If the former, I would say go for it, as you can keep it in check by pruning. If the latter and it is already very large, then prune it to the required size over two to three years.
