This has sprung up out of nowhere- about 50 cm . White flowers. Any ideas

Looks a bit like pictures of Jimson Weed....fast growing and not a plant one would want in their garden.....bit of a reputation if that's what it is., according press,Google etc.

It's Datura stramonium also known as Thorn Apple. A member of the nightshade family so it's poisonous to humans and animals. Suggest you dig it up and dispose of it but do wear gloves.
