Unknown Plants Suspected Bamboo

Can anyone help identify these plants for me - I am concerned they are either Bamboo or Japanese Knotweed?

I think it's Equisetum Japonicum, also called Japanese Horsetail. It's common in France in municipal planting displays, where it's called Prêle.
