Hi, I believe this is either a Jasminum officinale or polyanthum, but I'm not sure which (or if it is either!). I got it in 2018 as a small potted plant. It flowers (as you can see, pics taken April 21) in the spring, with a beautiful fragrance. In 2018 it actually flowered in late Feb/early March. It is evergreen.

Any help identifying would be much appreciated, as I want to plant it outdoors and wish to know where it would be best placed - a North or East facing wall?

Many thanks.

It's J. polyanthum. It's not hardy enough for life outdoors.
