I've counted twenty or more bees at the same time making the most of this large bush in my garden - please can you tell me the name of the bush? It planted itself a few years ago and I have no idea what it is called. It's about two metres tall and two metres wide. Thank you.

It looks like a Hypericum flower. Yes, the bees love it. Hope this puts you on the right track to ID your shrub.

Thanks Marietta. I had no idea there are so many varieties of Hypericum! I think mine is probably 'Magical Innocence' but I could be wrong. It’s certainly a prolific grower.
