Pretty little plant that may have been brought in by visiting wildlife to pond. It's taken root in one of last year's baskets which has been sheltered next to my raised pond. I've noted it's growth for a couple of months now and it's growth rate has increased the last few days. The flowers close by evening and are similar to californian poppies but much tinier. 1st picture taken 26th August, still flowering a month later, additional pics taken this week. I'm in the North West of England, so cooler climate here. The bees and wasps seem to enjoy it's flowers during the day. Any ideas please?

Thank you Simon, you put me on the right track. Having confirmed it's a poisonous plant to some animals, I'll be making sure it's out of the way of my cats.
