What's the best organic method of preventing/dealing with this in the future? I have actually sadly cut the whole plant back to ground level as it was covered and also had infected my Geranium Rozanne and other Geraniums which I also had to cut back. Was this the right thing to do? I'm trying to keep it well watered (I know dry soil is probably to blame) in the hope that it will come back and I may get some flowers later in the summer.

Hi - I empathise! Have had the same problem with honeysuckles and roses. I try to control it organically with Bicarbonate of soda - has to be done on a regular basis, Recipe for this solution and other organic controls at dgs gardening
