struggling magnolia

Hi I have a very small magnolia stellata and it onlt has 6 leaves, do I need to dig it up and put in a container to bring it on as it doesnt seem happy in the ground.

Hi Annie,

I had a magnolia that was pretty vulnerable so i put it in a very deep pot with good drainage. It looked swamped at first but soon picked up :)

Im not exactely highly knowledgeable but this is just something that worked for me. Hope it helps
