In the last month or so I have noticed worm casts on my grass. Sometimes it looks like when you are on the beach and you see thos squiggles (sorry for the description!!) in the sand, I am getting that but mud. I recently cleaned up after my dog and when I picked up some soil there were loads of brown worm type creatures, lookd a bit like mealworms but have no idea what they are or how to treat mt lawn to get rid of them. The closest I can find anything that looks like them are leatherbacks. Can you help me at all?

Hi, Laura,
Regular earthworms are typically the ones to leave casts. Usually, since earthworms are a sign of healthy soil, they are left alone and the casts get brushed away once they have dried a bit in the sun. Not sure what those mealworm creatures are. Can you post a photo?
