I have a couple of young plants which have got a bit battered over the winter, brown edges. Should I cut out what looks like the dead, damaged areas, and when?

Hi, Kathy,
With a H3 hardiness rating, I'm sure it took a beating this winter. Plus, it doesn't like to be wet in winter. It is best to lightly prune C. cneorum after flowering but if it looks really bad, prune in mid-spring - flowering will be reduced, however.
