yellow green leaves

I have a young plant whose leaves are a yellow green colour, is this normal? If not what do i need to do about it?

I love K. northiae! It does tend to have lighter green leaves than other Kniphofia but if too yellow, it might want a high-nitrogen feed or two. How yellow are they? Can you post a photo? One other question - since it is young, when was it planted? Could also be that it didn't get enough light this winter. Is it getting enough sun now?
