When to divide?

When is the best time to divide these? They are in leaf just now but not flowering yet. The leaves die back in summer. Can I divide now or should I wait until the leaves die back in July, or wait till Autumn?

Best time to divide is spring. It might be a bit late so if you do it now, flowering may be reduced as the plant recovers. Do you have this in your 'Plants I Have' list? I found this really useful because then I get detailed instructions on how to care for my plants.

I do have it listed but I must not have been logged in when I checked because it didn't say, though usually I see the log in notice when I do that. Either that or it's been updated since I last checked. Either way I think I'll leave it for now and try to catch it early next spring, it will be a bigger clump by then so I'll get even more divisions. Love it loads.
