Our solanum jasminoide looks like it might be dead. I have cut it back and removed the small dead twigs but there aren't any new shoots coming through which it usually has by now. Should I cut it back even further, closer to the root?
We have had it for about 4 years.
thanks jac

Hi, Jacque,
Not sure where you live but if your area has had a particularly cold, harsh winter, it might not have survived the low temperatures and excessive wet. solanum jasminoides is half-hardy so can't handle prolonged freezing or frosty conditions.

I live in essex and we had quite a bit of snow on two occasions so I think your right it probably hasn't survived for that reason. Such a shame as it was doing so well.

thanks Jac
