I planted mixed tulips last year, and this one is amazing. It was the last to bloom, but has now been in flower for over 3 weeks, and still going strong.

It has frilly yellow tips, and the petals go from orange to peach to pink.

Tulipa Aleppo - a late flowering fringed variety. Considered one of the most elegant tulips, introduced in the late 1960s. Hope this helps.

That's the one! Thanks so much. Must stock up for next year. Bit disappointed it doesn't come in other colours. I did have Angelica Tulips, but they were one of the many bulbs that something ate.

Oh yes, Tulip Angelique is gorgeous!

By the way, fringed tulips come in different colours (although garden centres don't seem to stock a great selection of these). See below:

Blue Heron (violet and white)
Burgundy Lace (red)
Fancy Frills (cream and pink)
Fringed Elegance (lemon yellow with bronze base)
Hamilton (golden yellow)
Red Wing (red, black, yellow)
Swan Wings (white)

Check out Capital Gardens and Crocus for fringed tulip bulbs.
