I rescured my Veronica (Inspires Blue) from my raise bed early this spring (bought it last year). Discovered part of my flower bed is only half a spade deep - not deep enough to protect the root from freezing weather? Transferred it to a medium size pot. Not glowing but leaves full of black spots. What has gone wrong? Please enlighten me.

HI, Neeniya,
Hard to say. Has it been cut back at all - either last autumn or early spring this year? Would you be able to post a photo?

That probaly is the uclprit. so small that the top of root ball is stick out not level with the new pot woil. I must get a bigger pot, so it hs pleanty of room for root to develop. Right? Thank you for yor ideads anyway. much appreciated.

Sounds like that could very well be the problem. Let me know how you get on.
