My Aspidista's leaves are all getting brown tips and two of last year's shoots are turning brown. What am I doing wrong? Am I over-watering? Does it a change of pot or soil? It is getting a number of new shoots but I'm afraid it will go the same way as the others.

Hi, Geraldine,
Brown tips usually signify too much or too little water. How often are you watering? Aspidistra can take quite a bit of neglect (hence the common name iron plant) so maybe a little less frequent watering would help. The newer shoots turning brown sound like too much water, too - might be rotting a bit.
