Hi
This was taken in the summer of 2007.
The frog is laying eggs on soil very strange.

That's a great photo, Gordon. I doubt the tadpoles made it though?

Yes, that's a great photo. I've never encountered anything like this before.
Poor thing, it must have needed to 'offload' but couldn't find anywhere suitable. You need to get that small frog pool built asap :-).

Hi Gordon,
I'd be interested to know what you buy to make the pool from.
Georgie bought a pool which is just about the size I'm looking for, but I can't seem to find anything like it around me.
Keep us informed.

Hi Joanne.
I am going to have a go at this one.

When the weather gets a litter bit warmer its very cold up here in Tyne & Wear.I must be getting soft in my old age.
The only trouble is time is running out before the frogs arrive.
Good luck.
Gordon.

Sorry about that it's gone down for me too. Never mind I have found a better site.
Hope this one works for you.

Hi Georgie
I put the eggs into a bowl of water
but alas they did not make it.

What a shame, Gordon, no wonder you are keen to get a small pond.
Last year the frogs spawned in my tiny water feature and whilst the tadpoles seemed fine at first, they didn't develop into forgs. This year I've replaced the water feature with a larger, deeper dish in the hope that the tadpoles - should I be lucky enough to get spawn again - have a better chance of survival.
