I planted these late this year, they have flower heads but haven't flowered yet - info says they should be cut down in Oct and lifted for winter, should I do that now before the first frosts? Could I lift the plants now and put them in the greenhouse?

Hi, Julie,
How late did you plant? Also, are they in full sun? If planted too late or not getting enough sun, the flowers just might not develop before the weather turns. You should really lift only after the foliage dies back. If you live in an area with mild winters, you should be able to get away with a thick, dry winter mulch after cutting back.
