Is My Veronica dead?

from Neeniya

I rescured my Veronica (Inspires Blue) from my raise bed early this spring (bought it last year). Discovered part of my flower bed is only half a spade deep - not deep enough to protect the root from freezing weather? Transferred it to a medium size pot. Not glowing but leaves full of black spots. What has gone wrong? Please enlighten me.

Can Foxgloves be planted in tub?

from Neeniya

I bought two baby Foxgloves (Camelot) a few days ago - about 12" tall. I only have a courtyard patio, with two small raise bed - one is mostly occupied by an invasive ugly bush, with prickly leaves - I was quoted for £100 to have it removed completely. Meanwhile, can I plant my foxgloves in a tub and replant them later when the 'weed' is cleared. What is the best time to replant them? Thanks in advance for the advice.
