Hi all but a small 'clump' at the top of the flower spike, all flowers have now fell - how should I cut the stem (if at all)?
Thanks

Many thanks for that Katy. Would you know if the dead flowers should be removed and if so how? I cut a few off tonight and white sap oozed from the stem!?

Hi, I've recently bought a 2 mtr plant (June) in flower. I've planted it next to a post of a pagoda. Due the 'concrete' around this post I had to plant it 6 inches away from the actual post; the soil/roots are covered by gravel/loose stones - Are these plants OK with the roots all covered like this? The flowers have started to die off - will they return this summer?

What a stunning plant! full of blue flowers on 4 stems when first bought, but flowers soon died after a few frosts. However, after removing the dead flower heads, a few weeks later in June its began to flower again - not fully yet though. Any tips welcomed.

Hi, planted this from pot to garden early June, flowered sparingly once but not since. Plenty of foliage.
Is it likely to flower again this summer? do I need to do anything to enourage more flowers? the original/natural soil is clayey, but i put plenty of general potting compast in this new flower bed
