Re-potting olive tree - ANTS, ANTS & more ANTS

from Julie burns

Hi, I am trying to re-pot an olive tree as ther are hundreds of ants in the pot but I am breaking the new roots as I am removing the ants. Will this damage the tree? I would be grateful for any advice.
Thanks Julie

Re: Re: Vitis vinifera 'Sauvignon Blanc' (Grape 'Sauvignon Blanc' )??

from Julie burns

Hi Kathy, on the left it said this plant is toxic and I didn't understand
exactly what that meant, I am new to growing grapes and wasn't sure if only specific varieties were used for their leaves. Thank you for your help.

Vitis vinifera 'Sauvignon Blanc' (Grape 'Sauvignon Blanc' )??

from Julie burns

Hi, I have just ordered the above and it says on this site that the fruit is suitable for wine-making and desserts and the plant is toxic. I was hoping to eat the grapes and use the leaves for cooking, would this not be possible or am I just being a bit dim? Can anyone recommend a variety that would be suitable if these are not?
Thank you!

Sunburst Honey Locust

from Julie burns

Hi, I have a large Sunburst Honey Locust about 30ft but it doesn't seem to be doing anything yet. I moved in to the property in October and it had beautiful bright yellow leaves until the end of December but they don't seem to be growing back as yet, is this normal? I have including a picture taken in November.
