from Globetrotter Gardener

Possibly a form of Erigeron glaucus. I am familiar with Erigeron Prosperity which has pink flowers with the yellow center.

Cypripedium - Lady Slipper Orchids

from Globetrotter Gardener

Thank you Valerie for your direction. I found even more postings from Mr. Cypman. He really has it going on! Any ideas on why we don't see more Cypripediums in the landscapes?

Re: Lupine diseases

from Globetrotter Gardener

New member here. I am Sacramento. The summer heat is a bear on Lupines creating lots of stress. In addition to mildew there are other diseases like botytris which can be a problem particularly if you are watering from overhead. One suggestion is to water with drop or from below and make sure plants are in a well-ventilated area of the garden. You could also try planting in containers which gives you flexibility on placement. GG.
