A mid-terrace narrow rectangular garden, inherited this space with just the apple and bay trees and scrubby grass; now with curved borders, a pergola and trellises, all part of design number 3 - trying to create year-round interest and some privacy(!); flowers dominate within a red-white-purple-blue scheme, with the odd flush of apricot! Still designing (third time) and replanting as I go, loving it. Varied conditions across the space from full sun to full shade, dry to damp. Current plant list also includes the front (mostly gravel) garden which is south-east facing....
