About me
Started serious gardening 12 years ago when we moved to our present home, with 1/4 acre. The last 12 years have been a labour of love. Like all gardeners, constantly changing things when I have a new idea (much to the frustration of hubby).

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Garden was mainly laid to lawn with a few shrubs, very large willow tree and not much else. Created island beds and borders. Made a wildlife pond and also ornamental fish pond.

Biggest gardening frustrations
Not making one of the borders wide enough. Had to uplift all plants near the front and widen the planting area before transplanning all the plans. (Glad to say all survived). Regret not planting lots more trees when we first moved in.

The gardening project I am currently working on
Revamping the ornamental pond area. Trying to make it not so 'ornamental' or obviousl. Hopefully with prolific planting I will soften the edges and almost make it appear hidden - well that's the plan !!
