About me
I am a total beginner, moved to a house (in view of the sea) 3yr ago with 1/4 acre that had been negleted for decades, so dense with rhodedendrons it was impregnable! I work full time so garden is limited & i'm disabled so it is difficult...but i am very determined!!
I do not want a tidy garden, more controlled wildness, I want plants that will attract birds/butterflies/bees. I've cleared a space, put in fences & made steps up a very steep bank...so now the planting begins.
I want plants that will give lot's of colour for as long as possible and need minimum attention (don't we all?!).
I've planted fruit bushes that are doing well & the lavender i planted has grown bigger than i expected...i'm learning.
